Hi, I’m Gabi! I’m a board-certified music therapist in Charlotte, NC.

I started playing piano when I was six, and by the time I was thirteen, I was loving choir and learning to play guitar. Music has always allowed me to say the things that I’m thinking and feeling. It’s helped me to find some of my best friends, explore new places, and feel confident in who I am. My deep love of music and desire to connect with others are the reasons I wanted to become a music therapist!

I completed my Bachelor’s of Music in Music Therapy at Queens University of Charlotte. I’m currently working on my Master’s of Music Therapy through Duquesne University. I completed my music therapy internship in a pediatric medical setting. Since being board-certified in January of 2023, I’ve worked in a couple of cool places! I spent the first bit of my career working with neurodivergent children, teens, and adults in group and individual settings. When I’m not here in this little corner of the music therapy world, I’m working as a PRN music therapist at a local hospital with adults.

I’m so excited to bring you Sunflower Songs Music Therapy! I believe that music therapy can support individuals of all different walks of life, and I can’t wait to connect with you to explore how we can partner together and work toward your goals.

In my free time, you’ll find me reading, walking the trail with my dog, playing board games with my friends, and keeping up with Dancing With the Stars.
